About US Dr. Trepp attended college at the University of Maryland, College Park, MD, where he graduated with a BS degree in Zoology (the biology of animals). He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, University of Maryland, Baltimore City, He traveled to Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City completed a coveted, one year General Practice Residency. During his year at Beth Israel Medical Center, Dr. Trepp realized that he enjoyed creating beautiful smiles using orthodontics. He returned to the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery and completed two years of additional full time training as a resident in the Department of Orthodontics. This orthodontic residency included genetics, embryology, human growth, biophysics and teaching orthodontics to dental students in their labs and clinics. He was awarded his Certificate In Orthodontics in 1978. He associated with a senior orthodontist in Severna Park, MD for three years before he opened his orthodontic office in Pasadena, MD, in February 1984. In 1985, the Maryland State Board of Dental Examiners recognized Dr. Trepp as a Licensed Orthodontic Specialist. Less than 150 dentists in the State of Maryland hold that distinction. Early in 1990, Dr. Trepp became the first orthodontist in the county to install dry heat sterilization of instruments to improve protection of his patients. Dr. Trepp became a leader in patient Internet communication when he launched his original web site in 1996. Computer digital imaging of patient concerns began in 1999 and allows instant retrieval of x-rays anywhere in the office. In May 2000, Dr. Trepp became Certified in the latest 3-D computer technology called Invisalign that allows some adult and teen teeth straightening without braces. Dr. Trepp started offering the newest braces technology, the Damon Self-ligating braces, in July 2006. In March 2007, Dr. Trepp started The Orthodontist's Blog so his patients can post comments to him. Dr. Trepp studied advanced first aid in 2008 and is certified as a Outdoor Emergency Care Technician by the National Ski Patrol, a Maryland First Responder and a First Responder Pennsylvania Department of Health. He and his assistants now celebrate over 25 years of caring for patients in Pasadena/Severna Park. Dr. Trepp and his wife, Joanne, and their dog, Raven, live in Severna Park, only 15 minutes from his Pasadena office so that he can participate in Pasadena and Severna Park community activities and be available to his patients who might have an after hours emergency. Joanne Trepp is the staff developement coordinator of Anne Arundel County Public Library. Family interests include computers, alpine skiing, crosscountry skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, hiking, biking, oyster growing, gardening, golf, fishing, boating of any kind and community volunteering. Because high quality treatment is the hallmark of his office, Dr. Trepp spends several weeks every year in continuing education courses. By doing so, his patient care will remain "state of the art" Lynn Stenner joined Dr. Trepp in 1996. Her pleasant smile and desire to help patients with convenient appointments, prompt\accurate insurance processing and generous financing, make her a great part of our orthodontic team. She and her husband, Jack, reside in the Pasadena. She has attended numerous American Association of Orthodontics courses on business management. She recently implemented a software upgrade that allows personalized appointment reminders by telephone. Lynn devotes a lot of her free time to singing in her church group. Tina Neaves joined Dr. Trepp in 2006. Tina is a clinical dental assistant who graduated from Anne Arundel Community College's Dental Assisting Program. She is also x-ray certified allowing her to take the sophisticated x-rays that help Dr. Trepp to make a more accurate diagnosis. Tina resides in Pasadena, has a young daughter named Savannah and a infant son named Michael. | Our History Dr. Trepp opened his Pasadena orthodontic office in February 1984. Although surrounding orthodontic offices have been through multiple orthodontists, being the only orthodontist in our office, Dr. Trepp has provided consistant, personalized, care for 25 years. We are treating the second generation of many patient families. Many patients and referring doctors call our office an "orthodontic boutique" because we see one or two patients at a time rather than be an assembly line. We stay on time so you stay on time.
